Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn about the distant land of Antarctica.
Coinciding with the first anniversary of the death of French polar conservation leader Michel Rocard and in recognition of France’s leadership for the protection of Antarctica, the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition is hosting a one-day conference in Paris on June 29th.
Antarctica Today and Tomorrow will address the environmental challenges facing Antarctica and the Southern Ocean and discuss the opportunity posed by the creation of an East Antarctic Marine Protected Area. The event is a partnership between the Oceanographic Institute/Albert I Prince of Monaco Foundation, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, The Pew Charitable Trusts and the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC).
